Eating disorders experts are noting an
alarming upsurge of women in their 40's, 50's, and 60's, checking into
treatment centers. Researchers at Remuda Ranch, an eating disorders
treatment center in Wickenburg, Arizona, tracked this surge.
(Reasons for the rise include more middle-aged women than ever
acquiring eating disorders; becoming aware of their existence; or
seeking help for the first time.) |
